Erie Canal Day 4

Today we went thru a few more locks then spent the bulk of the day crossing Oneida Lake.
The section of Erie Canal we passed by htis morning was a wildlife refuge so we saw many birds and creatures.
We are now in Brewerton NY at the Ess Kay Yard Marina.
Arriving early in the afternoon gave us a chance to shower and organize. They have a loner car so we did laundry, groceries, shopping and dinner out. ( Red Lobster this time...back to the north & their franchise fetish...what's up with that ??? can't we cook ??)
Tomorrow we will complete the last Erie Canal lock for us, # 23, then we turn up into the Oswego canal where there are 8 locks down into lake Ontario. We have an appt Tuesday to remast and then will meet our friends in Little Sodus Bay, Fairhaven Yacht Club !!!

The view across Oneida lake.

Kyle setting up the blog pics as we crossed the lake.

Kelly listening to music as we await the laundry. Note the New york shirt and how blond her hair is from all the sun.

Ahh...good ole' walmart for beer and food.

While we ate dinner a little storm passed over and left us a beautiful rainbow. We are that as a sign that the rest of our trip will be filled with gold :) and a little luck !
