Beaufort NC to Mile 157 - Shrimp Dock

This morning in Beaufort we had 25-30 knot gusts of wind pushing our 25000 lb boat onto the dock...thus we hung out and went shopping in this very beautiful little town.
Around 11 am when the winds died a little we got some help from the dock men and pushed off.
Our dolphin friends, a pod of about 20, followed us awhile and played in our waves.
We met a couple, Jean Marc from Paris & Marion from Brooklyn, who are traveling on their boat Oddessey. And oddly enough they have a huge dolphin painted on their boat. They left Beaufort around the same time as us. They are travelling up towards Maine.
Since we started off late we only made it about 6 hrs then found an ancient old Shrimp Co., R E Mayo Co., that let us tie up and have power for $20 ! So we bbq'ed some fine steaks, had a feast and went over to Oddessey for drinks :)
