ICW Mile 157 to 84

After taking off from the shrimp dock we headed farther north up the ICW. We travelled across a few very shallow lakes and had a couple nice sails.
Our larger boat quickly left Odyssee behind.
We travelled near a few military zones and saw many F18 doing tricks above us while we sailed. Air shows are free :) We also saw many bald eagle nests on the way.
After a long day sailing we found a nice little anchorage in Alligator creek. After maneuvering around many crab pots we settled in with beer and hotdogs...and yes we went for a swim since the temperature hit a high of 113.2 F ...and no there were no alligators.
Shortly after dinner a huge storm hit near us. We had lightening flashes all around us but thankfully were spared.
And now we know the anchor holds this boat very well.
